Wilfried Heinzel AG has further strengthened in recent years.
On the one hand, our major shareholder has acquired and further expanded well known manufacturers of pulp and paper, namely Zellstoff Pöls AG in Austria and Biocel Paskov a.s. in the Czech Republic, as well as AS Estonian Cell in Estonia. On the other hand, our pan-European sales network has been expanded with new offices in Scandinavia, Ukraine and Greece and has further enhanced our international standing. In 2004, Wilfried Heinzel AG sold stakes in Arkhangelsk and Kiev in conjunction with the Heinzel Group's joint venture project, the construction of AS Estonian Cell, a BCTMP market pulp plant, in Estonia. In Russia, the company is focusing on strategic development and trading activities.
Today, Wilfried Heinzel AG moves around 1,6 million tons of pulp, paper, board and kaolin worldwide on a yearly basis. Wilfried Heinzel AG continues to follow their long-term aim of being an independent link and service provider between the industry and the markets. |
