Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

Who is truely a Door Opener, touching ground with the customers of our customers, the brand owners, who need good packaging solutions. In this newly created strategic position you report directly to our CEO, Krunoslav Meic.

What are your tasks?

  • Product Advocacy: Present Heinzel Group’s packaging solutions professionally, persuading brand owners to choose paper-based options.
  • Network Development: Identify and engage key brand owners, negotiating partnerships and strengthening market presence.
  • Information Hub: Facilitate insight exchange between brand owners and internal teams
  • Customer Insights: Conduct in-depth research to understand the business needs and preferences of key clients and translate findings into strategic actions.
  • Sustainability Advocacy: Promote the environmental benefits of paper packaging over alternatives.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay ahead of trends through participation in industry groups.
  • Targeted Outreach: Build relationships with leading brands like Unilever, Lego, Ikea, and Rewe.
  • Key Account Management: Ensure seamless communication between customers and internal teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal departments to meet quality and customer expectations.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to maximize customer value and sales growth.

What we are looking for?

  • Experience: 4-5 years in purchasing, sales, packaging development, sales, management, key account or brand-owner management, preferably in the paper- / packaging industry.
  • Education: Technical or commercial background, University degree is an advantage
  • Languages: Proficient in English, German is an advantage
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
  • Skills: Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization abilities; goal-oriented and highly organized team player.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, structured, proactive, with excellent presentation & communication skills and follow-through on contracts
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
