What We Offer

Onboarding, Development and Career

Everything Starts with a Good Onboarding

From the first day on you will have a defined buddy on your side from your department, who will provide you the most knowledge transfer. A training plan will give you an overview of what topics you will go through. A training matrix shows you what additional trainings you will receive from our internal and external experts. In addition to gaining a better insight into how a pulp or a paper mill is working, you will also visit one mill within your first year.

Expanding Knowledge by Doing

Depending on the experience you bring and depending on the specific job, the Onboarding and intense training phase will last up to one year. But don’t worry, it won’t get boring afterwards! Just the opposite! You will deepen your knowledge and see how flexible our business is. After a while, you will be able to handle complex tasks and might become a real expert at your job. In this phase, you will also receive specific trainings you need for your job. If you are working with harbors, you will also visit one to get a good understanding of how it works.

Development & Striving for Excellence

Coming from a different background it might take approximately two years until you really feel confident at your job. Due to our flat hierarchy, most development happens within the job profiles. Some colleagues specialize in specific areas, like logistics, others enlarge their working areas.
But also changes of positions and departments happen regularly, depending on the needs of the company and the wishes & skills of our colleagues.
For our biggest groups of job profiles, Sales Support and Sales Managers we have a career path in place.
