The history of heinzelsales began in 1948 when it was founded by Wilfried Heinzel, the granduncle of current CEO Sebastian Heinzel, in Austria with a single truck. The company went on to become one of the world’s leading sales networks for pulp and paper.

Wilfried Heinzel AG was founded by the Austrian entrepreneur Wilfried Heinzel in 1948. At that time, the initial focus of the company’s business operations was on barter and triangular transactions, the import of chemicals for the pulp and paper industry and the export of finished products.
