SEBASTIAN HEINZEL, CEO

Sebastian Heinzel joined HEINZEL GROUP in late 2013 and soon took a management position at heinzelsales. In April 2017 he was promoted to the position of CEO of heinzelsales where he is responsible for the sales of more than 2.5 million tons of pulp and paper and for guiding the worldwide growth of the sales network.

DIETMAR GEIGL, CFO

Dietmar Geigl joined heinzelsales in 2004. In March 2010 he was promoted to the position of CFO of heinzelsales where he is in charge of the financial team. He supports pulp, paper and board customers and suppliers as well as heinzelsales offices all over the world with his extensive expertise in trade finance and risk management.

HEINZELSALES HEADQUARTER

Out of heinzelsales' 149 employees, 89 are located at the headquarter in Vienna, Austria. We live and breathe an international atmosphere with employees from 35 countries, speaking 39 languages. In addition to sales and customer service, the headquarter is home for support functions like finance, HR, marketing and IT.

HEINZEL SALES USA

The first office of heinzelsales outside Vienna opened in 1980 right in New York City. The 10-person team run by Claire Fraser is as diverse as it is typical New York, with staff coming from 7 different countries and speaking 6 languages. Interacting each day with pulp and paper suppliers in the US, Canada and Brazil and with customers in Europe, Asia and Africa, the team’s ability to fulfill the needs of both makes them successful.

HEINZEL SALES ASIA-PACIFIC

Heinzel Sales Asia-Pacific is the most recent addition to the heinzelsales offices, acquired in 2018 and managed by Thomas Bauer. With a big office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and a smaller one in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the mission of Heinzel Sales Asia-Pacific is serving customers across all of Southeast Asia and sourcing papers from Asian suppliers for sale in the rest of the world. Additionally, the office also has its own merchant operation in Malaysia, importing and converting European paperboard.

HEINZEL SALES GERMANY

Heinzel Sales Germany opened their offices in 2003 in Wiesbaden. In addition to the German local market, they are responsible for several key accounts outside Germany. The small, but flexible office is managed by Norbert Hofmann. The team speaks several native languages and boasts a good mix of ambitious youngsters and old foxes with more than 25 years of experience.

HEINZEL SALES POLAND

Heinzel Sales Poland is located in Warsaw and managed by Sebastian Matuszewski. With many years of experience, the office offers a full range of paper products to both local and multinational paper converters, printers and publishers. The team combines all advantages of being a small company inside the structure of a large international corporation.

HEINZEL SALES CANADA

The heinzelsales office in Vancouver managed by Matthew Burke is strategically located in a market dominated by pulp producers from major Canadian forest companies. The Heinzel Sales Canada office is as multicultural as the city in which it operates, with all of its members speaking multiple languages and coming from a variety of industry backgrounds.

HEINZEL SALES FRANCE

Heinzel Sales France has its office in Paris. The small team run by Olivier Arliguie is active in pulp, containerboard and paper sales and has special know-how in pulp grades and flexible packaging papers. France is highly environmentally focused, supporting a trend away from plastic packaging and towards other materials, benefitting fibre-based products.

HEINZEL SALES ITALY

Heinzel Sales Italy, located in Milan, is the largest office of heinzelsales outside Vienna. With their warmth and smiling attitude, the Italian team managed by Carlo Varini takes on the everyday challenge of creating new ideas and tailor-made proposals for customers, always aiming to be better than the competition. “Is there a problem? We have the solution!” is their motto.
